I want to be the best representation of myself. I strive to be aware of what I say and do in this life, I want it to have purpose, and lift others up, and make them feel loved or at least cared about. I also get a little pinch in my heart when others do not seem to know this truth. Sometimes I cannot blame them, they do not know any better. Like Maya Angelou says, “when we know better, we do better.”
I read this today, I wanted to share it here. This is my prayer for myself, and a desire to share the good the Lord has shown me in this life with others. I fear that some days I am not the best representation of His spirit in me, I am consumed by the distractions all around me. I am thankful for these words and how I hope they can guide me…
The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks.

Sometimes people show us their evil and want us to show that back to them. I pray we store up good in our hearts, and share it with each other.
